Activities this Autumn

Writing Movement has a lot of activities coming up this Autumn:

• 30’th August we release a call for articles which supports a large amount of articles on dance as well as translation and exchange/publication.
• August 25’th Iceland Art Academy hosts a workshop with Camilla Damkjær and Leena Rouhainen during Reykjavik Dance Festival.
• 18th-22th of September the international dance festival Aura in Kaunas hosts visiting participants of ne[w]kritika and as a preparation to that, Ingrida Gerbutaviciute and Lithuanian Dance Information Centre organizes a small workshop on the 9th-13th of September
• 29’th September Dance Information Norway invites audience to a seminar with author Geir Gulliksen, author, choreographer and dancer Janne Camilla Lyster and dance artist Cecilie Lindeman Steen during the CODA festival.
• 2’nd  – 5’th October the Latvian dance journal Dance.lv hosts several days of workshops and discussions in the town of Rēzekne, where a brand new venue is opening this fall.
• Around the 20’th of October the local hosts and network partners in Writing Movement are meeting in Riga to choose between the incoming proposals in the call for articles.
• There will be a workshop for critics and cultural journalists in Tallinn this Autumn. Date to be announced.
• In Finland Liikekieli continues to collaborate with festivals around Finland on seminars and discussions on dance criticism, and is also planning a larger seminar during the festival Moving in November in Helsinki.
